Storage, protection and processing of data

Personal data is stored securely and processed only by persons who need this information to perform their own work tasks. Our staff have been trained to carry out their duties in accordance with the requirements set out in the EU Data Protection Directive.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to conduct our business in accordance with the essential procedures and needs we have in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If the data subject so requests and if no other legislation requires the data to be kept, personal data may be deleted or anonymised. For example, the Bookkeeping Act requires that certain information is kept for a longer period regardless of whether the material contains personal data or not. We also collect login information, which we keep for the period stipulated by law.

How to request disclosure or deletion of personal data

We delete and disclose personal data only at the request of the person concerned. The person concerned must be able to authenticate themselves to us at our branch office by showing an ID card; meeting must be arranged in advance by sending an email to: dataprivacy@forcit.no

Disclosure of information to third parties

If necessary, we also disclose information at the request of the authorities, and we always inform the data subjects about this if required by law. Occasionally, we may use services provided by a third party, and this may require the disclosure of personal data in order to provide the service from Forcit. In these cases, Forcit has responsibility for the activities of third parties on an equal basis with its own business.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy in line with changes or clarifications in legislation. In the event of significant changes to the privacy policy, the data subjects will receive separate information.
